Emshoff named 2026 recipient of Fudin Award

SPPCP Foundation is pleased to share the recipient of the 2026 Fudin Award for Pain and Palliative Care Mentorship, in collaboration with MedCentral: Jessica B. Emshoff, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP.
This award was developed in partnership with MedCentral (previously Practical Pain Management) in 2022 in the name of Jeffrey Fudin, PharmD, FCCP, FASHP, FFSMB. Dr. Fudin, an icon in the clinical pharmacy, palliative care, and pain management field, passed away in 2022 from colorectal cancer. Dr. Emshoff, professor of pharmacy practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University, is the fifth recipient of this award. To learn more about Dr. Emshoff please click here.

The SPPCP Foundation was launched in 2022 as the philanthropic arm of the Society of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacists. Our first award was conferred on Jeffrey Fudin, PharmD in May of 2022 and was named in his honor.
